Meter Watch is made available by UCAN, the Utility Consumers' Action Network. UCAN  was formed by concerned San Diego and Southern Orange County citizens in 1983 to protect consumers from San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E, division of Sempra Energy). UCAN is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, supported in part by donations from people like you. You don’t need to be a UCAN member  to participate in MeterWatch, but members with a consumer complaint  can get personal help and advice from our Fraud Squad Complaint Hotline, plus other powerful  benefits.
